That's a confusing poll.

Are the graphics better than BF2?
-The same but a bit better

OMG maps load 1000x faster than BF2         
-Actually it does loads faster than normal BF2

Less connection failers than in BF2
-Havn't played for long but got connection lost once

U can put ur graphics higher than in BF2!?
-Don't want to because in the normal it lagged worse and want to have a smooth playtime

The new kit system than BF2
-Well will see how this one turns out

Close combat&vehicle combat are better matched than Bf2         
-Well you now have a chance against them

Are more ranks better?
-Well like more ranks ^^

We all love unlocks in bf4142
-Well they put the "C4" as an unlock so guess noobs have to work a bit with it so they just cant spawn and kill with it

Titan selfdevence defense are cool/whicked (positive)         
-Havn't played long enough to se this yet

Going to buy BF4142

Faster yes, but the factor might be 1.5 or 2, it's not that much.

I can run 2142 on the same level as BF2.

Basically it's a good idea. Bad thing is that you need unlocks for basic stuff like the defibrillator or hand grenades. That's plain absurd.

CQB is even more spray and pray than it was in BF2. Infantrywise, BF2 >>>> BF2142.
Vehicle vs. vehicle seems to be equally matched, but I never saw any serious mismatch in BF2 either - for the ground vehicles that is. For the flying stuff I'd say yeah, they're more equal than they were in BF2.
Infantry vs. vehicle combat is fucked up, because only 1 class can work against vehicles (anti-tank) and all others need unlocks to get explosives (recon) or mines or even the most basic item that could work - hand grenades. I'm not a fan of this.

It's fore sure more motivating because you don't have to wait as long to advance. I personally don't think its better by itself. Ranks didn't mean shit in BF2, they'll still mean shit in BF2142. All they say is that someone has either spend more time on playing or knows better how to score or focusses more on scoring.

They're a nice idea basically, but I dislike the fact that very basic equipment (grendas, defib) is only available as unlock and I dislike the "tech tree" structure of the unlock system (you need the lower level to be able to unlock the higher level).

They're interesting and could come handy, but I doubt many people will stay in the titan to use them without good reason.

It's pre-ordered, but I won't give up BF2 completely.

--> The graphics may SEEM better than bf2's at first, cuz it's simpler and as a result I get much more fps. But then I noticed whenever I got 90-100 fps in bf2 like I do in bf2142, bf2's very detailed graphics trounce bf2142's. Bf2142's graphics are a step back imo.

--> Once again, the maps load much faster because bf2's maps are MUCH MUCH more detailed. I'll take bf2's trade-off.

--> I can play bf2 for longer periods of time, which is ashame. A demo is supposed to be POLISHED, as it's supposed to persuade me to buy the retail game. bf2142's buggy state is sad, but at least it *might* get dice to fix bf2142 retail in time to not cause us to whine.

--> bf2's graphics are more demanding than bf2142's, imo, so NO, I get less fps in bf2 if the shaders accidently thought my system was more powerful.

--> At first I fell into all the hype about the "improvements" of bf2142. Now that I've played the game, I see the gameplay is so shit that things like "the new kit system"(unlocks) in the retail version won't change the tide around for bf2142, at least not to get me playing it over bf2. But we'll see. In addition, I never saw nothing wrong with having "less powerful" standalone kits in bf2. They're STANDALONE because they are POWERFUL in their specialty. What's wrong with that!?!? On top of that, the "less powerful" kits aren't exactly target practice to simply get eatin' up, if you're proficient with them( I once ranked up like 6 kills in a row defending+attacking a flag as an engineer. gg one-shot/one-kill shotty:p).

--> bf2142 is a step backwards in this respect. Totally step backwards. Only thing worth noting positively is how as a support guy, the longer you stay in one spot, the more accurate your shots will be. This should encourage people to play a "true" support role. But to be honest, after playing bf2142, I think I rather a more *fun* gameplay, e.g. being a huge rambo support guy able to take out whole squads, than play a "realistic" role that isn't as fun. In the end, it doesn't matter what it is, but it has to be FUN! And I think bf2's vehicles are faster and more fun to kill with. bf2142's vehicles are BIG things driving in BIG worlds, bigger than bf2's, so the impression I get is that bf2's smaller cars are much faster. Plus, in bf2, the vehicles' guns have a LOT more bass than in bf2142's. So I genuinely feel like I'm "fucking them up" in bf2, compared to the weak feeling, generic guns in bf2142. Also, not only do aircraft's take more "skill" in bf2 than in bf2142--which I don't care about--but in bf2, aircrafts feel more *natural* and I feel less restricted in movement. MUCH less restricted. In fact, I'm going to say by all means, bf2142's aircrafts were severly NERFED!

--> Bf2142 made me realize that I can make wrong conclusions based on what's written down on paper, instead of actually experiencing it over time. So since I haven't played the retail game yet, I can't comment. But there's nothing wrong with bf2's rank system, imo, because 190% of the time I'm playing, I'm not thinking "need another kill need another kill need to get my next rank NOW!!1"

--> Haven't gotten around to titan mode yet. Heard it was much less infantry fighting in that mode, 'cept on the titan itself, so I'm not even interested to see for myself.

Going to buy BF4142

--> I had high hopes for bf2142. I even defended it from time to time without having even played the beta. But playing the demo is enough. The game, to my discerning eyes, is NOT the on the same level as bf2 is. If bf2 is a 10, bf2142 is a 3. If bf2 didn't exist, however(and I never played bf42), I'd say bf2142 is like a 6, and I'd stay to my old time favorite Quake 2! As of right now, I'll probably buy bf2142 in December, or maybe as early as November, if the reviews somehow turn out positive. But if there isn't a noticable decline in bf2's population(e.g. I can still get a good 64 player game), I see no need to "check out the new game," which will be the FIRST time I won't try out a "new game" if my computer can run it. HOPEFULLY, the retail will be 50% better than the demo, cuz the demo SUX.

My major worry about bf2142 is that a LOT of people are going to hop onto bf2142, without evaluating it critically, and will think "well, it has conquest mode, a NEW titan mode, blended, customizable kits, and better loading times; it MUST be better than bf2 LAWL!!" And as a result, a lot of people won't be coming back to bf2. IF the gamers are smart, however, they'll see bf2142 for what it really is, a game that was rushed rushed rushed to get more bling bling for ea and dice. IMO:)
