hi i´m asking some help  because I'm ordering new video card and don´t know much about computers generally ,so question is about system what i have and how good it will run bf2 if i buy this card .
amd athlon 3000xp (2.2g) whit 4X/8x support
2x 521MB + 1g 400MHz twin-mos memory(2g)
and whit club 3D 7800 GS AGP 256MB 256-BIT GDDR-3

so can i run bf2 whit  all effects on and quality high in all options in 1024X768 whit 100 frames/second??

Probably can run on medium graphics with that set-up.

um thats weird if i runned same system but older video card (geforce 6600 gt 256MB)
and -1 g block of memory of that what i have now, was running bf2 smoothly on 1024X768 pixel and was effects medium and all of rest most of them high quality few like shadows off and lightning medium + anti-aliasing was x4..

i was hoping that i can play 100 f/s all high on options and on 1024X768 pixel resolution

2g memory and new card which is quite good ,what i have herded and read about it, should do lot better.
on 2.2 g processor... can´t wait to get it

You won't get anywhere near the performance you should out of that card because AGP doesn't have sufficient bandwith for 7800 series cards, the AGP versions are a waste of money, you should have gone for a slightly lower end card, a 7600 maybe.

i have 2g memory and amd athlon 3000xp wich is same as intel 2.2g
if this is not enough, what is? for requirements to get 1024x768 resolution to run full hundred frames per second and full graphics and 4x anit-aliasing on it???

A better CPU would help. The XP 3000+ is very old and will act as a significant bottleneck. Just as your AGP is acting as a bottleneck for that fast GPU you've got.

With 2GB of memory you should actually run BF2 pretty well. Before my current setup I ran it with a Radeon 9800Pro and 2GB ram and was able to run it @ 1024x768 on all high settings (no AA) and it ran fairly well with no noticable slowdowns. This was on a dual Opteron system with both processors running at 1.6Ghz (about equal to a 2.8 Ghz Xeon), I'm sure with your faster processors you should be able to get somewhat better performance.
