4/5mins max at a time i get to play before i lose connection

Ive turned off everything in background apart from firewall shall i try that also.

Yep, I blaim the fact that a ton of people are downloading the demo from EA.

Happened to me in 2 of 5 games I played. 2 more ended due to the well-known "Your connection to the server has been lost" problem and 1 ended because the player number fell below minimum.
Doesn't look too promising as far as stability is concerned. Guess they're already working on patch 1.01 while the CDs are being pressed.

i dont think it has anything to do with opening up router ports
all of the ports are the same for 2142 as bf2
so if it was a port problem then you wouldnt be able to play bf2 either
