if you look at my frined http://bf2s.com/player/59200215/

he has 75051 or sometin points and according to the ranks he is due for a new rank (1st lt.) but he didnt get it yet even in bf2 it updated but didnt get his shiny new rank anyone know y?

What those guys said. If you are in play when you reach the mark, you have to log off of that server join a new one, get one freakin' point and then you will get promoted

Yeah i've was promoted to captain 3 times in one day, I also earned my expert engineer twice. That just the way it works on a sat.

Hell, one weekend i ranked up to 2nd LT 3 times, and another earned vet armor about 6 times.
