Maybe I don't understand OC'ing enough, but the fsb won't run 1:1 with this thing at it's max until i'm at 400 fsb right? (excluding OCing the RAM).  Now I could probably get up to 400 fsb w/ a c2d but if I don't overclock like crazy why would I want 800 over 667 and just run like 333 fsb?

With an e6600 you can use a higher multiplier than the others so you can keep the fsb at 333 and still hit really high OC right?

If i'm not OCing at all there's no reason to take 800 over 667 for a e6600 is there?

I'm kind of in the dark here, so fill me in!

You are correct that to have the RAM running at it's rated speed, on a 1:1 FSB/RAM bus, you would need the FSB at 400MHz.
