3rd Person View (ingame)

I searched and didn't see anything on this here so for those that don't know about it, have fun

This is how to view yourself in the 3rd person while ingame.

1)apply for commander
2)Find a high place
3)climb up
4)find where you can jump off
5)now, open commander screen and zoom in all the way
6)Jump, open parachute, press c (while in air)
7) close commander screen when on ground and, voila!
8) play with it

I can only imagine how difficult it would be to shoot someone from 3rd person. Especially since I can't be bothered actually testing it.

it's not meant to be used when the game is live man. it's simply to mess around with and have some fun while doing it.

actually, it DOES work. i've done it like 5 times. and by play with it i mean mess around and have fun with it.

Yeah, I just tried it and I couldn't move in commander screen. I also tried jumping off, pulling the parachute, then going into commander screen before I hit the ground, but once I got to the bottom, I still couldn't move. A fraps recording would help.

I betcha there's a dozen other bugs you can abuse through this..

Not so long ago I got a connection error for a split second while getting in a jet. The jet dissapeared, I was in it, and it made no sound. it worked just like normal but other people actually couldn't see me.

Ah, so many yet to be found bugs..
