I have a 19" HP for my desktop, and a 15.4 widescreen laptop. 15.4" is quite standard for a laptop, the large ones are 17".
Yes, I hear BF2 runs on some newer macs. I think you needed to install windows though.

I have a 17" CRT atm, soon getting a 19" Widescreen, Can't wait.
My lucky arse of a friend is getting a 32" HDTV (£634 ~ $1187). Paid for by his parents. He's also getting a PC upgrade to the tune of $750. Lucky Bastard.

I actually don't like to look of TVs as montiors, however Dell makes some pretty huge ones.

They just have a better resolution and responce time in general. This one is 6ms.

I got a 20" 5ms, only problem I have is video card based, I still run a 9550 256mb, so it can't reallly handle anything above 800x600 without lag.
acer 17" a little big for me for the distance i sit from it
800x600 that seems awful low.
I have a 23" L2335....its bloody awesome....8 bit SIPS panel so its fast and looks decent too, native res 1920x1200, inputs are DVI, VGA, Composite, S-video and component, plus its got hardware PIP (so i can window any input into any other fullscreen input).
hardware PIP, nice. Watch the news and play BF2 all at the same time.

You get used to it. And since I can't see a comp upgrade within the next 6 months I'm gonna upgrade to better ram, oc my processor and vid card a tiny bit, and hope for the best.the_outsider38 wrote:

I´d say a 19" or a 21" CRT with "normal" specs.....kinda sad that TFT´s doens´t perform good enough yet.
But they are nice for other stuff,like slower games and they are easy on the eyes.
Why buy a freaking good computer for still having lag and ghosting on the screen?
