I'm a Police Officer, Sportsman (Rugby, Javelin, Table Tennis for competitions, I play Squash, Tennis, Soccer and I pump iron in my free time), in a year's time will be starting on my degrees in Literature and Philosophy.

Difficulty:100. If anyone says its easy being a cop, don't believe him. The amount of shit I deal with on a daily basis is incredible. Both desk jobs and being on the beat is equally hard. And I'm not kidding. Being a sportsman is easy though. Its just sports I love and I get to play competitively. Fun.

Importance:100. Not to be all arrogant and stuff. But no police officers? =P As a sportsman, well... Maybe not so important but a hell of a lot more fun.

Fun: 0. (-10) I'm just serving my bleeding time to the government. That's all. Its no fun, the pay sucks and we all want to get it over and done with.

Length of Service: 1.25 Years.

Intent: One bloody more year.

Im in High School right now so:

Difficulty: 50. It takes up a lot of time but its not so bad

Importance: 100. What can i say, we are the future (lol bad cliche)

Fun: 80. Ya i sound like a geek but it really isnt all that bad I've got some cool teachers and stuff and some really good friends

how fun is it                i wouldnt say there fun at all. Both jobs have their humerious moments but not fun.

how hard is it? 75-110it can be quite difficult looking directly after the lives of several guys underwater with idiots in boats and stuff running around
how important is it? 100 i keep guys safe and sound....as to importance to the community i keep a steel works going as they need clean water,i keep sydneys main water supply filtraion plant clean too
how fun?90 i have a good crew and have a blast when we can
how long have i been doing it?started diving at 4 started diving commercially at 15 so 17yrs and full time every day sort of job work 13 yrs
i will keep doing it too as it pays well

Importance - 100, without me military members where I am stationed would never get to see American TV shows ro sports or here American radio shows or music.  The military down range (deployed) would never see anything but Iraq-ime' or Afghan-ime'.  The DJ's couldn't do a damn thing without me. 
Fun - 25, a lot of the job repeats itself daily
Length of time I have been doing this - 7 years
Length of ime I plan to do this -  Another 12 months then I am finished with the military and it is off to become a teacher.

Security training department in the US Navy

Conduct training for security force personnel

Importance - 100 instructing the personnel that will be protecting our base and country
Fun - range from 10-100 cramming in 9 hours of teaching sucks but on the other hand driving police vehicles and spinning them around a course or conducting weapons training and putting led down range, you can't beat that.

HOW HARD IS IT....depends really some days are easy others hectic.
IMPORTANCE.... like the teacher said kids are the future, so its an important job.
FUN....95 to 100%....cleaning up p*ss, snot, poop and vomit has its downsides...but its a very rewarding job, nights out with the girls is fun too!
HOW LONG...working 3 years, training (ongoing) 5 years
HOW LONG WILL I DO IT....till i retire i guess or win the lottery (HA), this is my second career use to work on submarines (construction) 14 years

I m trying to become a tree surgeon. That ll be sweet, climbing trees all day, working with chainsaws and getting paid for it too. I ve got a jobinterview at a local tree surgeon next mondaymorning.

how Hard is it: not very allthough i ll get tired climbing up and down trees all day.
how important is it: Well if the tree is a hazard for traffic or houses etc, its quite important.
how fun is it: I love climbing so alot!

Difficulty:(100) It's not easy keeping grades up in college and serving at the same time.

Importance:(100) The bombs have to be loaded...CORRECTLY or its gonna skip along the runway and possibly blow up.

How Fun: (0-100)  Depends on what i'm doing and where at.  The Desert sucks some ass.

How Long: 2.5yrs...3.5left on enlistment. 

How long you intend to:  College 2-3 yrs left max....Enlisted; I'm hoping for a pilot slot then ill retire a F-16 pilot. If i don't get it then ill take my degree and go.

I'm a Quality Assurance Engineer / Motion Graphics designer for a software development company.  We make plug-ins primarily for After Effects and Photoshop, but also have plugs for Sparks, Flint, Flame, Inferno, Final Cut Pro, Premiere.

1.  I'd average it around a 50-60 level of toughness.  I have to think pretty abstractly to hunt down bugs in the software, plus I have to do a lot of design work to create content for our website and our reel that we show at tradeshows.  I also get to do Tech Support, which can get tedious after a while.

2.  50-55; It's not as important as some other jobs, but we create tools for designers to use to produce pretty commercials and film effects for entertainment.  I figure entertainment is pretty important in any society, so I'm helping people create within that industry.

3.  80; It's quite fun, though bug hunting can get dull at some points.  I basically get to use a ton of development kits and programs that won't be available for public use for a while (Like After Effects 7, G5 Macs with Intel processors (not the iMacs, actual G5 towers) Flame stations, etc etc), and I get to go to tradeshows like SIGGRAPH and NAB, go to Vegas for free and have fun.  It's a small company (only 5 people) so it's a cozy atmosphere.  Really easy to get along with everyone, and everyone basically has their own part of the company that they support.

4.  I got hired on as an unpaid intern around October of 2004.  I turned out to be really really good at QA, and I meshed really well with everyone, so I got hired on Part-time early in 2005.  I balanced that job along with school until I graduated last September, and got hired on to a Full-time position a week after graduation.  And now here I am still going strong with it.

5.  I'm going to stay on for maybe another year unless a better opportunity for my goals opens up.  I'm planning to get into compositing and Visual Effects, and when I have time, I'm going to put together a new compositing reel and use my contacts to get into Tippett, ILM, or Pheonix Edit.

That reminds me... My buddies and I went to a Velvet Touch store here in MI where they have peep show rooms. We went there just for the experience. It was fucking disgusting. Law school = 20, toughest schooling I ever went thru

BAR exam = 1, Six hour multiple choice exam, 12 half hour essays and 2 one and a half hour essays over 3 days of hell. So glad I passed

Talk about hell, then you have ppl call your law office looking for a "free consultation" no such thing. Only if its a personal injury,  medical malpractice or an initial  bankruptcy consultation.
