1.Don’t jump in an empty tank when the engineer is repairing it. But…feel free to sit in the gun position to  protect your teammate while he’s vulnerable.

2.Just because you (or your stats) think that you’re the best at gunner, or flyer (jet or chopper), doesn’t give you the right to have sole access to the vehicle. Everyone has an equal opportunity/right to learn in multiplayer; playing and mastering singleplayer is only a false sense of security.

3.If someone clearly sucks at something, usually vehicle related, invite him or her to your squad and provide some advice or constructive criticism.

4.If someone gets in a vehicle before you (typically chopper or jet) then wait your turn, don’t TK or jump in front of the vehicle. Stop acting like a bully/poor sport.

5.Rank equals allot of points, not skill. So don’t judge a player because they have a lower rank. Ever heard of the saying, “don’t judge a book by its cover”?

6.It’s OK to ask someone to “hop out” once.

7.There’s nothing wrong with being a “whore” in Karkand, jet, sniper, whatever. Let’s face it we all do it in real life because we do what we enjoy and good at, you know…. human nature. So why should we behave differently in our elife?

8.Who cares what the other player’s stats are; just worry about yourself. You bought the game for your own satisfaction not to see how other people are doing.

9.Some people have more time to play the game than others…leave it at that. You  don’t know their personal situation.

10.This is only the surface of how deep this list could go. Bottom line, treat others how you would expect to be treated…courtesy!

they should replace the ROE with this, and put it in the licensing agreement that you have to agree to when you install.

They don't teach courtesy in schools, & you sure wont find the parents that cut you off this morning teaching their kids anything but the wrong way by example.
Unless you have a solution I'd bend over & take it or find a different server.

You're out of your mind on #1.  If an enemy engineer is repairing his tank, and I can hop in it.....Oh yeah, I'm gonna steal it.  If it's a friendly engineer, I'll hop in as a gunner to cover him.

Well written, I agree this should be how people act in the game. I still laugh at all the replies of:
"I paid $30.00 for this game I should be able to do what I want with it!"

Well ya know what?.... I paid $30.00 for my box of .45 cal ammo for my Sig220 handgun does that mean by those people's logic I should be able to clear my holster and shoot at anything I want at any time. Because I "paid" for the bullets?.... No of course not.

It's amazing some people think their dollar investment in an object allows them the license to be a a-hole.

Then again common courtesy is a rarely propagated trait in the human species lately.

I usually hang around friendly engineers while their reparing their tank, give 'em some cover, rather than get inside the tank and thereby making you an easy sniper target. Covering people on the battlefield and being a generally good person earns you, as a player, alot of respect and those people will most likely make sure to join your squad, next time they see you.

Be a good man, and do the right thing!

I usually try and do no. 3 and get abused. "im not a noob fucker" "dude, yes you are"

then i normally lecture them that they are riding in MY chopper. I am the pilot, i can do what i want with said chopper. They do what i want them to. They are riding WITH me. I do NOT have to fly you. but i am.

i wish all people would act like this.

Damn staight.  I'm so sick of these ass hats who think they are so much better than everyone else and should have sole access to vehicles and screw everyone else.  I dont care if ur the best pilot in the game and i'm the worst. I dont care if you can get 60 kills in a round in a certain vehicle while i can only get 20. I fly/ drive cause its fun.  I do the best that i can, which often isn't so bad, and if it helps my team win, then great.  If my team looses, then oh well, we'll try again next time, and at least we all got some points.  And i'm really getting tired of this forced TK shit.  "Oh boo fucking hoo, someone else got the plane even though he got to it first and hasn't had it all round. How dare he take the plane from me, teh l33t pil0t!!" I don't care.  I'm gonna do my best, and what ever happpens happens. Leave me alone and let me play the game I fucking paid for.  If someone else gets to the vehicle first, then oh well.  I'll go do something else and mabey i'll come back and try to get it later.  No need to ruin some one elses game play experience and be a douche by diving in front of their plane and punishing.  All they are doing is trying to play the damn game, just like you.

Very well said, Redback, +1 if I had enough posts to give you karma.
I always try to join a squad and follow the rules, and generally be a good team player, but it hurts to see how some people behave during a game. Must be the anonymity of the 'Internets'.
