everytime I run Word - I get this error message
"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library"
                      Runtime Error!
                      Program:C\Programfiles\MicrosoftOffice\Office10\WINWORD.EXE
                     
                      abnormal program termination




I don't understand why this pops up then it CTD's when I press OK and I lose all work that I am doing, it pops up about 5 mins after I get into Word - I emailed this to Microsoft Help but still no reply

thanks I followed those steps but they are saying if you are trying to quit or close a document but this error message pops up in the middle of me doing work but I followed the steps and removed it and I'll just have to wait and see if it works ---- thanks to all

You could do a repair on office. Add/Remove programs...click on change where you see office or word (whatever you have installed) and tell it to reinstall or repair.
Sober enough to know what I'm doing, drunk enough to really enjoy doing it
