......... o rly. youre not serious, right.

Anyone fancy telling me the nine or so irregular (epsilon) contract future participle forms of verbs such as pleo, punthanomai, etc? How about learning for me the second chapter of "tales from Herodotus", word for word with grammar, looking for temesis and enjambement, before 8:10 GMT tomorrow?

Cheers

ok guys, got a Gr. 10 "TIPS" (short for thinking inquiry and problem solving) for u....

Chanelle is creating a design for a vinyl flooring.  She uses circles and squares to create the design as shown.  If the equation of the small circle is x² + y² = 16, what are the dimensions of the large square?

I may be wrong, but I get the larger square at 11.314 units along a side.

From the equation of the smaller circle, when x=0, y=sq rt of 16 = 4, and likewise for y=0.

The point where the small square intersects the large circle is therfore at x=4 and y=4 so the equation for the large circle is x2+y2=42+42=32.

So, when x=0, y2=32, and y=5.657 to 3 dp.

Same value applies for x since we're talking about a circle, so the dimensions of the larger square is twice the value derived above, hence 11.314 units.

Edited above, does that make sense enough for you to come to the same conclusion?

ohhh, so the POI of the small square to the big circle is (4,4)  meaning the eq. of the big circle is 4² + 4²=32?

if so makes sense to me and thank u very much

Hey I need a little help with my french homework.  I have to make a poem about my mom and, as you can tell, im not the best at french.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

And also, is the first sentence right?  If i wanted to say she was great, how would i word it?

Thanks a lot

1. Rad of smaller circle = 4 (From equation xx + yy = 4x4)
2. Semi-diag smaller square = rt(32) = 4rt(2) (pythagoras theorem with two sides being 4 and 4)
3. Rad of larger circle = 4rt(2) (as it is the same as the semi-diag of smaller square)
4. Dimensions of larger square = 2x4rt(2) = 8rt(2) by 8rt(2)

Edit: point 4 is true because the rad of the larger circle is equal to half the side length of the larger square.

1.What happens to muscle fibres when we exercise and train them regulary?

2.Why is it so important that we train specific muscles when doing sport?

3.Which muscle is being described and where would it be found

a]Used particulary in throwing events and gives stability to the shoulder joint.
b]Responsible for bending the arm and elbow.
c]Used for climbing or pulling a rope.
d]Rear of the upper leg.
e]major role in sit ups.

As you can tell this is P.E homework,if anyone can help you wouldn't know how greatful i would be.

The only reward i can offer is karma, and a big thank you.
