As a person from the beta, I've seen a vast improvement from beta 1 to beta 2, not just bug fixes but MAJOR improvements in skins (finally you can tell whos side your on...), Bug fixes and we the one we all hate... Nerfing... Yep they did some nerfing, but thank god its only the distance where the APC pods can launch.

I found the first BF2142 bug by the way. For those who were in the "Alpha" Beta it's that weird death glitch where you can still look around and such when you're dead and it's just a mess. Still, no random disconnects, connection problems or crashes to desktops, so far no-one's found their way into a building wall and it dosn't snow in the Titans any more.
Again to those who played the Beta - it has been fixed so much. Still, I'm there to try and make sure they get it perfect this time. That being said, don't blame anything on me!

Thats one of the reasons why I wasnt interested by the Beta of 2142. Being used to a game and then seeing it being nerfed and modified.. no thanks...

Your response was in reference to a code freeze which is related to, but different from, going Gold.
