I don't want to be involved in another war.  But if everything is fine and there is no concern why can't we go in and look?  If they want a nuclear program for power go for it.  But allow us to make sure it is for power.
iran can not have nuclear weapons.  The world WILL be an extremely dangerous place if that happens.
How would the world be more dangerous? They can't nuke anyone, the second they launch one they will get 10x the nukes right back in the face (rightfully). I don't think they are that stupid.

I'm sure someone said the same thing about Pakistan having nukes.
Why do they want them then?  Why can't we go in and see that they have an innocent little nuclear power program and nothing else?  Why are they stalling this process then?????????????????????

Nukes are a form of defense as much as they are a form of offense.

Put yourself in there position. If you were an Iranian citizen and you saw what the US did to Iraq, wouldn't you want your country to have nukes?

We have 2 choices.

1. Let Iran do as they please; the possibility of them not using there nukes on anyone is high. If thats the case, peace.

There is a (imo) small chance this could lead to a lot of death (mostly from Iran).

2. Attack Iran, create more terrorists and increase the movement of Islamic extremists leading to more wide spread terrorism; create more general hate for America.

This is a guaranteed way to lead to a lot of death (spread over many years).

Did you see Crimson Tide?  Well, that boat was American, so any mistake could start a global war for nothing.
Did you see The Lord of The Rings? I think you'd better not give your girlfriend a golden engagement/wedding ring, or you'll just be heading for serious trouble.

OK, I'm gonna stop fooling around now, since this is debate and serious talk...
You better stop fooling around, coz the movie is based on the fact that U.S. submarine commanders were authorized to launch missiles on their own initiative without the President authorization, thing that Clinton changed.  If you read some history and if you saw the movie you'll find that there are some similarities with the episode of the Cuban missile crisis.

PS: I was already marriaged when I saw Lord of the Rings.
