SO today my sig was removed by a mod because someone found it offensive. i also know that Lisik changed his sig due to the same reason.  This was my sig:

All of the sig was removed, not just the pic. I find a lot of of things offensive on these forums for example:

Lisik sig. (Why is the baby in front of the palestinian soldier and not also in front of the israeli soldier.)
ATG sig.
|AIA| DAS sig.
A lot of posts which call for all the Muslims to be killed.
etc

Equally speaking, iam sure a lot of people find me offensive for my views on isreal. i don't ask that their Sig's should be deleted, and i dont ask if certain post should be deleted because its freedom of speech. If we don't have freedom of speech here on the Internet , then where do we have freedom of speech.  You don't see someone trying to remove the pope just because he pissed some people off.

I would like the mods to rethink, and also would like to get feedback on what other people think about this.

As I'm sure the mods would point out you have no freedom of speach here. They can determine what and who is offensive and do what they will.
I should know, I've been wacked by a mod before.
It's a privately owned forum and is not subject to the constitutional protections regarding free speach.

I for one, don't care for your former sig, but didn't think twice about it. Somebody probably complained and action was taken.

ATG is right.  This is a privately owned forum, and as such you do not have freedom of speech.  Your limits are determined by the owner and those whom they have assigned to keep oversite of this forum.  If you want complete freedom of speech, start your own forum.  As the owner, you get to dictate that.

Swearing at someone or launching a personal attack is different kind of being offensive.  Why would mod find it offensive that i don't like isreal because of its actions, and i have never ever said or implied that i hate jews.  Let say i used a sig bashing iran, i bet no one would remove my sig and every would be giving me karma.

On a forum where people "cry" about how there is no freedom of speech left in this world because of Islam, your saying their is not freedom of speech on this forum ?

No, my sig is not calling you a mother fucker. Its calling the rat bastards who shot the nun in the back and who are burning down churches that.

I've gotten karma from people who think its funny. And thats all it was meant to be. Its an absurd sig, not a hateful one.

But, don't lose any sleep over it, most of the time I change my sig every few days.

Don't wry i don't lose sleep over anything. The way i saw it, it was calling me a mofo. 
Some people find it funny, some people like me find it slightly offensive.

Wow, this is quite a stretch.  I think ATG is an ass too, but daaaamn!  His sig doesn't say anything to you or any muslim!  It's simply the pope making light of the gay situation muslims have put him in.  He doesn't need to apologize FOR QUOTING A BIZANTINE EMPORER at all.  But because he's a peaceful man (even if he was a hitler youth long ago) he made ammends based on what he understood his offense was..and that was to say he was sorry if it sounded like he was endorsing the Bizantine emporer's comments because he wasn't.

ATG's sig pic is simply a satirical representation of the Pope humoring the unwarranted angry mobs of Islamic haters.

While the signatures you find offensive are lighthearted, your picture is malicious and opinionated. You'll find you get more complains if this is the case. people can take a joke, but abuse generally isn't as easy to get over.
