history has shown most military coups to be more corrupt than the people they are ousting, a popular coup, or civil revolt, is similar, but not quite the same, but here at least I would like to think that we have the political tools to remove the corrupt politicians, what with term limits and all

Tho I think most of us would prefer the non-violent way... at least until the government becomes too corrupt to even try negotiations

This doesn't happen very often, but I agree with kr@cker. We have tools built into our system of government if that becomes a problem. That's not to say that people can't try to rig elections, but democracy still requires vigilence from its citizens.

Funny, the same liberals who DON'T want to defend themselves against Islamic radicalism and who DON'T want to stop the invasion of our country from the southern borders, now want to rise up and create anarchy and violence against our own people and govt. A govt. that calls for new elections every 2 years so the people can speak add to it, the power of impeachment. There is no need for a coup in this country.
