I played the previous game by these developers, Operation Flashpoint, plus all expansion packs. It was a fantastic game. I would imagine Armed Assault will be even better.

I think AA will beat BF2 for me, I can see BF2 being shelved when AA comes out.
Operation Flashpoint was the best game I ever played, if you have never tried it go out and get a copy. OFP isn't BF2 - it's a much slower paced experience so don't expect the "Battlefield 2 knees bent running around experience", but it is still the dogs cahoonas.

Read a lot about this game. Its from the people who made Operation Flashpoint many moons ago.
The graphics already look dated next to BF2 but the maps will be huge just like its predecessor.

The release date in Germany is November 30th. Its possible to preorder on Amazon.de. Bohemia Interactive has publishers for most european countries by now.. (Poor US-guys. )
Wether it will beat bf2 will depent of the preferences of the player...
I am 100% sure that I will buy and play it, since I am also a big fan of the predecessor "Operation Flashpoint"
Guys who are just looking for less-sim , more-action type game with ranks, pointwhoring and shiney pixel medals will most probably prefer BF2142 over Armed Assault.
Im glad that there is a good chance, I wont have to see pointwhoring and statpadding players in Armed Assault.

BF2 is the best game I ever played. The only game that can beat it is 2142.

Well lets wait and see. Bohemia interactive also was responisble for Operation Flashpoint and this game was just awesome. Never played anything before, where I could grap a APC/Tank/Helo/Jet and diffrent kits.
The most realistic FPS shooter I´ve played so far. I think this game would be fun, because they create it for multiplay only, with some aspects of the old OF, it will be great! Further I dont think this game will be as acardestyle like BF2 is. I guess it will be more tactic based and much more realistic.
