What are the first things you install on your/someone elses system to keep problem free, add functionality, etc.?

Here's a list I made.

1. Drivers (obviously)

Hitman Pro 2
WinRAR
Symantec AntiVirus
Spyware Blaster
Spy-Bot Search & Destroy
Windows Defender
Nero
Open Office

CrapCleaner (just added)

windows, updates, drivers. panda AV, firefox, steam (start the d/ls early), xfire, teamspeak, vent, daemontools, Photoshop, Flash, itunes (wouldnt use it but for ipod), desktop bkground, patch d/ls/ transfer from cds. game installs :BF2/expansions/booster d/ls, COD2, GRAW, FEAR, Oblivion, EEII.

done. did it this weekend, took 3 hours incl. install.

Then Defrag.

Yes a defrag is definatly necessary. Diskeeper is the best program out there [in my opinion] to use when doing this. Very reliable and works fantastic.
