You are right with bunny hopping... since bunny hopping gives the player no offensive advantage.
Prone spamming and dolphin diving however give both a defensive AND offensive advantage. That is why these maneuvers are unfair, and why most people who get the higher points use them. Think about it... dolphin diving makes you a smaller, moving target, and also gives you the added accuracy during proneness. Same for prone spamming.
There is a reason to EA's madness. Taking away the shooting while jumping is a good fix since you lose that advantage you used to have of being able to attack efficiently while hopping. Adding the delays inhibit these techniques to make them less effective.
Like I've said in the other posts about this same goddamn topic:
If the game were coded better (more complete), where standing up/going prone meant re-adjusting your aim, having the camera tilt, shaking your cursor a bit, you could do all these maneuvers as you please and people wouldn't bitch about it. Play Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter and you'll see what I mean by this. You think twice before doing any prone spamming, as it should be.
Quit kidding yourselves by saying that these are all fair techniques and that they don't really help you out, you know you all bitch about them because they help you out even a tiny bit to get more kills and die less often.Personally, I don't care if they are used in game or not, since they are part of whatever coding EA/DICE put into this game. But please, don't go around saying that it is SOOO unfair that they are taking steps to minimize them, and that they in no way benefit you a little.
