Patch 1.4

· Fixed bug where after 2 rounds on the same map, the top player stars are awarded to the wrong people in the menu

I've been playing on Sharqi Insomnia for about 1200 rounds now and I could not for the life of me figure out why since 1.3 my 5xx Gold medal count never went up. Insomnia plays 15 rounds, and when I saw this "fix" addressed in patch 1.4 I finally thought I'd get my medals.

HA HAW! Freaking DICE clowns can you do anything right?

Notice that the guy is not even in the server roster, nor is he assigned a team flag in the medals screen. Insomnia servers skip the medal and awards display screens and only show the roster. To see anything more you have to click manually between rounds (during the 15 seconds) so I never bothered and just assumed I was getting my medals. Well tonight just as I quit I checked and noticed this shit is still going on!

I'll save you clowns some trouble:

If someone with a super high score quits before the end of the round, they won't show up with everyone else. But they still get the gold if they had the most points

That must be it because I can see his clan-mate has enough team points to justify it - he must have teamkilled some guys in the havok too much. I will keep track of this the next few rounds and see if it is goofing up.

Good catch!

Yep, I think it's this too.

I haven't noticed problems with the medals being awarded, since I get them infrequently I do look at scores carefully when I'm in the running.

Yea and it pretty much ends the debate on whether or not your score is kept if you quit mid-round.

Roger that! But there really was no debate

Some myths in the game persist because they're hard to prove conclusively one way or the other, e.g. bullet drop/no bullet drop, but this is the kind of thing that someone could test out in a single evening if they actually wanted to know the answer, like I did with the question of what counts as a win... which had to have been known to some experienced players, given it's so easy to check, but not widely publicised, I think deliberately.

What? Of course there's bullet drop. Or are you talking about debates over which sniper rifle has the least etc?
