Does somebody knows when the battlefield 2142 demo is coming out? And if it's playable for everyone? (not only subscribers)

Playable for everyone, exactly like the BF2 demo was.
DICE said that they're going to release the demo two weeks before the release of the game. Release date for 2142 is October, 13th. Not sure if they're going to make it until this date.

Release date for 2142 is now 17th as per their statement when they were shutting down the servers. This would be in accordance with their "release on a tuesday" policy.
I'd put my money on the demo being out on the 3rd October.

The Battlefield 2142 public beta period has been extended until Tuesday, September 12. In addition, due to the overwhelming response to the beta, DICE and EA have opened 10,000 new slots to the public.

I would say there will be a demo at the start of october

You can say it will come out today and you can say it will come out next week or the week after next. It doesn't really matter. Any of you could be right. *shrug* Unless TotalBF2142 or BF2142.com know any different. I'm sure they will know before anyone else. So just keep checking.

So i searched around a bit... and so far I couldnt find an answer... and then I found this thread, and still no answer...
When and where and how can I get my hands on the 2142 demo? I didnt pre order it... i thought it would be around somewhere on the interweb to d/l.

It comes out friday the 6 US for gamespy people, and the 7 everywere.
