Wow, what a joke this is....
You know, it really would be nice for once in a blue moon that DICE had a friggin clue how to
setup and manage a game. I mean lets be honest here. We're stuck with what they give us, like
it or not due to the fact of ranked servers having so limited rules.
My question is this though. For all this time, Ive heard 'Dont like choppers? 1.4 gonna fix that.'
'Dont like all the lame jet bombs, 1.4 patch gonna fix that.' Correct me if Im wrong, someone,
but from what I can tell, after playing 3-4 games in I/O mode, ALL the friggin vehicles are gone.
No option for 'No Aircraft' 'No Armor' etc etc etc.. Either ALL or NONE. What a choice! What a crock!
I was really hoping that great maps like Wake Island could do away with all the air whoring
and become a No Aircraft map with this latest patch, but no, I havent seen one map running IO mode,
and why would they, theyd have to take out all the jeeps, tanks, etc also.. thats no good.
So, once again, DICE throws in a across the board ALL or NONE 'option' that is really no option at
all, if you ask me. Quite silly, Quite ignorant.
Wake Island with no jets and choppers would be awesome. No more of the China team raping
the hell out of the carrier for 20-45 minutes while 10 or 15 guys try to land on the beach and get
a base. Sitting ducks they are. Hell I slaughter them too (not the jet and chopper slaughter, though..
thats just down right lame..)
All the other games I have reviewed and played have soooooo many more options for admins to
set up their servers. BF2 is controlled in gestapo fashion.. but why? The integrity of their stats system?
What a pathetic joke that is, no? I mean Ive seen so much stat padding, air whoring, ranked servers
shut down to public so clans can pad their stats privately, on and on. The stat system is ridiculous.
Keep the stats. But get out of the integrity business, EA, you have none yourself, so why try to act
like you do.
Options, Thats what this game needs. Sure would be nice. Sure would make this game 10x beter.
But nah says EA, we want the chopper tard who has 80 kills and 1 death by raping the carrier for
45 minutes, we want his stats to count as skill.
The 'ranked server' is the main reason this game has so many problems.

yeah yeah, I know, go play checkers.... well youre right, at least that way I'd know the teams
are REALLY even.
