the way i look at it, if the pilot tells u to bail out, i do it. why? coz if u dont hes gonna be a turdbrained mofo.
why the hassle, just jump out go grab something else, or..omg...god forbid, ground pound.
The pilot may have the right to tell you to get out, but he doesn't have the right to force to get out. You payed for the game same as they did. I've been playing with my friends a lot more and have become a better pilot than gunner. Personally I would rather gun than fly. But it's much more fun to me to have someone in the chopper with me. I don't care if they can't gun. I can help them learn to get better, because I learned by gunning for a friend who helped me get better.
And any bleeping leet pilot who thinks they can fly me to the edge and suicide me better think again. I will make your day miserable.
It's only happened to me twice, the first time I didn't know wtf was going on cause I had never heard of getting hung out of bounds and the pilot never even requested I "Bail Out." But about two weeks ago, someone hung me out for the second time.
On and AF map, these two guys had the chopper and died about three times in five minutes so I decide I want to go for a spin and see how well I do. So when they go down again I go to the pad and wait. They both respawn and the three of us wait for the chopper. It spawns and one of them gets pilot seat, I get gunner. "Bail out! Bail out! Bail out!" So I bail, they say "thanks", I say "whatever, you guys are noobs and I'm going next time you go down." They say "Okay." They go down in about thirty seconds and the chopper comes back up. Other guy as pilot I'm gunner again. Again they want me to bail and I say "I bailed last time, this time I want a shot at it." So the guy takes off and heads for red. I type in, "I'm trying to be fair about this and take turns but if you want to be a noob and hang me out of bounds I will be a noob too and tk you till the end of the round." Luckily I was a medic so I kept auto healing myself and the pilot couldn't keep it steady...so a lot got said before he finally just slammed into the hill.
Anyway, we both respawned...his friend was still waiting at the helipad...I tk'd both of them. They respawned behind me and tk'd me...got the chopper and took off. I respawned and got the little bird and went and shot them down. I think I tk'd each of them about 5-6 times, got kicked for negative score twice and was able to rejoin both times. Begining of next round I typed another message saying if they would just share the chopper that is
NOT THEIR OWN PERSONAL CHOPPER then that round would not have been like that. I also told them I was done tking, just wanted to prove a point. I spawned, they each tk'd me about two or three times, got kicked and didn't come back.
I am not tk happy and hate doing it. I will however tk if I see someone else tk for vehicles. I tried to be reasonable and communicate with these asshats but instead they hang me out. That round of tking was probably one of my funnest and most memorable rounds of BF2 because I know I totally ruined their game. If you want to be a dick to me for no reason, I'm going to bring it back ten times worse.
