ok so here the problem...all was good till i installed 1.4... Now with 1.4 installed my ping is super high on every server i go to... before 1.4 it was mostly aound 50-70 ping now its atleast 175+ and i cant even play... please if anyone can help shead some light it would be much apperciated...Thank you

Firstly welcome to the forums.
Secondly, many people have been having this issue and in depth discussions have been happening regarding it's cause. If you look near the top of the page there is a large "Search" button. Click this, type in what you are looking for i.e. ping, and I'm willing to bet your answer will be in there somewhere near the top of the list.

hello thanks for the replies...I tried seaching but came up with nothing...Im having major BF2 Withdrawls...
The 1100 or so server that are brought up after updating are normal, but my favorites are all 1000+.hmmmmmm
yes same here i cant find 1 dam server that my ping is less than 170
Dude, just click here and I can see a few threads about the ping problem.
your link says "returned no hits". What keywords you searching under?
