Yeah I remember them well, every time I look at Iain Dowie (Charlton fc manager) it reminds me of the big ugly fella.

At 1st when I read the "Do I remember the Goonies" I was going to say of course I do they were in the Champs League Final last year and have just taken up resideance of their new home The Emirates Stadium.

3-2-1 contact!, Powerhouse, The Electric Company, The Littles, Fragglerock, He-Man, Thundercats!, Transformers (1st gen), Mask, D&D, Tom and Jerry (Back when cartoons smoked cigarettes and stoogies), Spiderman, Gi-Joe, ahhhhhh they bring back so many memories...

Ask a kid today who Gargamel was....  sheesh.

For you Eclectic Hip-hop fans out there, go find a song by Ugly Duckling called "Journey to Anywhere" on the album under the same title.  Funny as shit and a great blast to the past.

Greatest thing about that movie, the kids said Shit. They weren't afraid to actually make a fucking movie back then with some realism. That shit would never fly now.

Goonies was the fucking bomb. That disgusting woman is so freaking scary, even to this day.

HEEEY YOOOOU GUUUYYSS!!! Freaking monster guy was bad ass.

Yeah, I was watching an old Tom & Jerry the other day, and Tom got drunk. How sweet is that?

Now'a days, you'll never see a cat getting drunk on childrens cartoons. What a shame.

I used to love Saturday mornings. You'd wake up at like 545, just in time to go bug your parents and grab some cereal, then it was tube time till like 1130 when football came on or something. I used to love the free Disney Channel previews, because my parents were cheap and wouldn't spring for the cable box. But on normal days, it was Bugs Bunny, then Superfriends, then some random crap until Dragon's Lair/Dungeons and Dragons.

In fact, TV used to rock. Before school, it was GI Joe, then take a bath and eat while Jem and the Holograms were on. Go to school, get home, time for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and THE FUCKING SUPER MARIO BROTHERS SUPER SHOW!!!

Man, I miss those days. True, I probably absorbed way too much TV in my youth, but its a condition of the age. Now my 1 year old watches Sesame Street, and loves it. I worry that he's watching too much. but at the same time, how can you go wrong with Sesame Street? Way more educational than the goddamn Wiggles.

end of rant.

I saw the goonies back in the 3rd grade! I loved that shit! I think that movie had a well sorted out plot unlike todays' movies where they just blab about anything.

Man the good days !!!

Still have to watch the goonies when they are on cable. I remember bagging my parents for all lions to make voltron. I think I only received a couple of them.

Raise your hands if you bagged your parents to take you to the Transforms Movie? Could not believe Optimus Prime dies in the movie. Sad momunt in the transforms saga.

I kind of remember a cartoon that had guys that would move from mountain to mountain on vehicles that would shoot out lines and would travel on them and would fight their enemy on them. The people also had a gauntlet control panel / hook on their arm and would be able to travel on the lines too. You might think I am crazy, but I had toys from this cartoon. My mom would yell at me because I would have all these line all over the house. Karma for any body who now what I am taking about.

LOL, I watched almost all of those shows including some great Irish shows....Wanderly Wagon, Zig and Zag. Classic stuff. Anyone remember The Goodies? it was kinda like the kids friendly version on Monty Python. I loved Saturday morning tv. We would wake up watch some cartoons then some serial episodes like Flash Gordon or Rocket man, then some Carry on movie would come on......too funny.

The Goonies was an awesome movie that I just watched again with my kids and they loved it. Chunk is the best. I hope the rumors are true and that they make a sequel. Interesting side note: the leader of Modrors army in Return of the King was based on Sloth in the goonies.....thought that was pretty cool.

I remember this show but I cant remember this episode:
