I forgot about the MC Hammer cartoon. Man, I'm old...I remember having an Orko Birthday Cake for my 4th.

Bonues points for knowing who the hell Orko was.
I remember Orko.  The wizard from He-man.  I had his toy when I was a kid.  You run the zip strip through him and he spun around in a circle.  Such simple thinks entertain us.

Edit:  I am to slow

Was it Bravestar or Marshall who had the phrases:

Strength of the bear!
Eye of the hawk!
Speed of the puma!!

And the metalic horse... I'm pretty sure it was Bravestar.

That's not gonna make me want to watch it. I couldn't stand it then, even less now.

My roomate has his picture taken with all the Goonies. His aunt's house in Seaside Oregon was Mikie's Parent's house in the movie...you know the house with the maid they were taunting in the beggining of the movie. Man I loved that movie as a kid. And of course Ferris Beuller's Day Off. My nickname's been Ferris for about 15 years now.

And the movie MASK was better than the cartoon Cher was kinda hawt back then.

The Goonies movie was on tv the other day in scotland. Was dissapointed because i was not able to watch it at that time. BUT HEY, i have it on DVD, so just watched it an hour later instead!

such a good movie. will never get sick of watching it.

NOW onto the Thundercats. I am going to get Sky (cabel tv) for my flat, you know why? because i was in a Electrical shop (Dixons) the other day, and on the Massive big HD wide screen tv at the front of the store they were showing the Cartoon Network channel. Thundercats were on!!!! YEAH BABY YEAH. My girlfriend went around the shop looking at stuff, while i was like a little kid again and stayed Glued to the screen while Liono faught off this bad guy.

and while we are talking about this stuff, check out this web site

Yeah, the "proper" name was Macross but most everyone I knew just called it Robotech.

BTW..the one with the guys that had snap on weapons/wings, etc.... was The Centurions.

Yeah, The Centurions. God I used to think some totally lame stuff was cool.

One for the British (I don't think it went international), do you remember the programme with Rod Hull and Emu, living in a windmill, and a witch called Grotbags???

I watched that movie again last night, and it still rocks. Looking back, even though I loved it as a kid, I think I love it even more now...you just catch so much more of it. Anybody remember the Goonies? Thoughts?

Also, I'm not limiting the thread to Goonie-related stuff. What about the Thundercats? Voltron?
Tough one...who remembers that cartoon MASK?
I got the Goonies to it rocks... even got the Goonies game to Nintendo NES.......

If you want the random or old cartoons.  Watch Boomerang.  It is a Cartoon Network that shows old cartoons.  I for one enjoy the old Space Ghost.
