Yeah, so I dl'ed the full patch and patched the game w/o any problems. When I click the Shortcut the screen goes black and then Back to Desktop...

Re install BF2 then repatch with full trust me it happend to me only way to fix it

normally all you have to do is repatch with full over inc this made mine worse the inc said it was wrong version whatever i couldnt re install the inc cause it said i dont have 1.3 so i dload the full then get screwed over by black then grey then black then grey then a CTD.

Hello guys.
Recommandation : before installin,g the 1.4 patch, do a complete duplication of the file with BF2.
Then you cazn swithc from one to the other without any problem and reinstalling !
