i recieved an email today from EA

Hello,

Thank you for contacting EA support.

Your cd key has been banned and your account has been stripped for using a 3rd party programs like MSX security or any of the ones from bf2hacks.com etc. There was an ongoing investigation for quite some time before this action was taken. In any case, unless Punkbuster decides that there is sufficient evidence to overturn the ban they have imposed on you we will be unable to assist you in restoring your account. There are no refunds on accounts / cd keys that were banned. To clear some things up there is no appeal process with EA. Your were banned by Punkbuster. You can appeal with them if you like at www.evenbalance.com .

In the meantime any future communication from you in regards to this matter will likely be closed without a reply.

It's a joke at the moment, we ran a server last night for a 16 people lan and some people couldn't get it because the bloody server client thouhgt they were banned.

I remember some heavy rivalry between Aussie clans and people got reset because of the results, it seems that this is a common thing in Aussie but I could be wrong, it's a shame you got reset for one thing and now banned for another, someone needs to make up their mind or just lay off the booze for a while

If I had a violtaion the server would tell the others in the server, my server admins would know about it and ban me, AND if i was banned, i would be on the master bf2 pb banned list.

I havnt any of those.

The thing I hate about all anti cheats stuff is they never give enough information.... they always say its to not give the hax writers clues and stuff but it leaves everyine wondering wtf. It difficult to defend your self if wrongly accused or for others to make a judgement on if its true or not! Personally I cant beleive anyone would pay monthly to cheat!!! Be interesting to see if they respond with anything sensible if you complain.
