is this thread a joke man....GO ARMY HOOAH
Poll
Best branch of the U.S. Military
United States Marine Corps | 31% | 31% - 51
Navy | 6% | 6% - 11 | ||||
Army | 16% | 16% - 27 | ||||
Air Force | 18% | 18% - 30 | ||||
Coast Guard | 6% | 6% - 11 | ||||
Uber Secret Guards of Dick Cheney and Karl Rove | 19% | 19% - 31
Total: 161 |
All the branches of the military suck. Anything that wastes as much money as that does isn't worthy of respect.
Obviously it's the uber secret guards, any country with uber secret guards automatically = win. Only Dick Cheney's uber secret guards though, not Karl Rove. Pff, Karl Rove, don't even know who that is.
but yet you still pay taxes....thankyou for your money.jonsimon wrote:

You and I were on the same dirt in Baghdad. I was at Camp Falcon in S. Baghdad. My buddy was CPT Eric Balough. I think he was with HHC 2-7.GunSlinger OIF II wrote:

Icelandic coast guard would take you uber secret cav dudes out in seconds. Look at their coast line, LOOK AT IT. They have to guard that. That's fucking hardcore that is.PBAsydney wrote:

LOL Balough......he was my PL for the LONGEST before he was sent to HHC. we got him as a butterbar, my platoon was the first one he had when he was commisioned. really great guy and good officer, he was one of those officers everybody in the company had nothing but praise for and we still bumped into each other from time to time in Taji. he was out there with the ICDC or ING or whatever they call em nowadays. they gotta lot of stories out there with the wild indians. wow, LT Balough....sorry, CPT Balough...small world. if you ever talk to him again, tell him Perez, Dangerous says hi=CA=lamcrmbem wrote:

they tasked my platoon out to the arkansas guys a lot during OIF II. I spent a lot of time at Camp Provider/Volunteer and Camp Gunslinger/Solidarity. a little bit of time at Fort Apache.
it was great when I had compoany CQ and he was the SDO. he would bring over a PS2 and controllers and games and bring em down to the company CP so he wont be bored

lolz I live in Zimbabwe so their army is the best!!!!
Seriously, make your own poll if you want to vote SAS for best military branch (just don't include the Delta Force because then you would be wrong). The poll is US branch not <insert you country here> branch.

Apparently this means I really like to stir shit up? I was just pointing out that his claim to know exactly which was best after having served in one was blatantly false.Bubbalo wrote:

USAF All the way. Hands down. My respect towards the other branches for what they do. But come on. Would you rather sleep in the sand or in a five star hotel? Plus how many Army or Marines can honestly say that they have gotten a lap dance from a midget stripper in Greece?
Jets dont rule. Real planes have props. In which case the only plane in the AF inventory with props would be the C-130. Jets can shoot other jets down any day of the week. C-130s pose a very difficult problem for jets to shoot down. Low heat signature, severly tighter turning radius, and they can stay airborne at 60KNT. Havent seen a Jet do that yet. Plus they drop the biggest bomb in the airforce inventory. MOAB anyone.(yeah I was a 130 mechanic)

Army, Go the Rangers, SAS (AUS), Delta
~ Do you not know that in the service … one must always choose the lesser of two weevils?
Absolutely!therealnicoli wrote:
With richard on this one, How could you leave the SAS off?? By far the best military branch!
But they're not a branch of the US army. That's a pretty good reason for not including them in the poll.
What you want to watch out for is one of the most vicious, bloodythirsty, deathdealing forces out there - The Liberal Commie Treehuggers!
Not who, what.Mekstizzle wrote:

Nobody quite knows what Karl Rove is, all we do know is that it's pure evil.
ive served aswell. i chose the army. people who play games think they know tonnes about the armed forces..... when really they know jack unless theyve servedtheknuck wrote:

Marines are part of the Navy just like the Air Force used to be part of the army until 1947ish. Also I refuse to vote because of the fact that they serve our country and I hold them all as great men and woman. We are all equal remeber? So unless they fight eachother you are not going to prove much.

I said you like to stir shit up bubbalo, and it was relating to this thread, I actually respect you for it, cause it makes people think, I'm an asshat for insulting you in the same karma giving thingy. Please don't hold it against me.
P.S. I'm drunk and probably shouldn't have said anything, but I don't care at the moment.

Wow we really know what side your on now. If you think protecting your ass is a waste of money and fighting for your right to say what you just did (than you have quite a bit of growing up to do), it's not the military's fault they are in Iraq/Afghan etc, don't blame them, if you want to blame Bush, go the fuck right ahead but don't even think for a second that the military is proudly fighting for you. Show some respect.jonsimon wrote:

The Marine Corps. I don't think I really need to explain.
