Just wondering which would be better to download, and is there any conformation it fully works yet?

- incre.. or full?
If you have 1.3 also incremental will be fine but with FULL you never miss it!
I'm getting the incremental, if I need to I'll get the full version later. BUT they should have fixed that.
♥
Also, does it work with EU from bf2s... bf2s only supplies US + FR dl.
Shall i dl it even if im in EU?

Will know in 10 mins, yay!

Full... incremental doesn't patch localization.
FR(ench) is in the EU...knightnufer wrote:

I always use the full...
I meant EU as in english. Is the US patch the same as English?
I'm hoping that the incremental will work ok
Of course. It's just hosted on different servers for better download rates. Usually: The closer the server is to you, the better your rate should be.knightnufer wrote:

Proud member of a dead community.
No.. it's actually in Jamaicanknightnufer wrote:

i download the full patch...just to play safe..
Yeah, the incremental is always so solid and useable...
I'm downloading the full.
I'm downloading the full.
Why does everyone always ask this?
Why is everyone so eager in getting a smaller download with the chance of having a screwed up patch install?
Just go with the FULL. Always go with the FULL. That way if you ever need to reinstall you already have the FULL.
Plus FULL patches don't screw things up and lead to server crashes like they did in 1.3. And for those that say they never had an issue with 1.3 incremental... They were probably the ones that were crashing the servers! Of course they didn't notice.
You would think everyone learned their lesson on this already.
GO FULL. ALWAYS GO FULL.

Full! Full! Full! Yeah they're huge and take longer to download but you're always better off.
You are probably right, but I'm keeping a backup copy anyway, just in case.Todd_Angelo wrote:

So when my full patch version is downloaded I'll just erase the incrementally patched folders and patch my actual install with 1.4 full.
can someone recommend the procedure for full patch install?
Sure feel free to follow along with my simple step-by-step instructions. I make installing patches fun!molotov<bf2> wrote:

First, download the BF2 patch from your favorite site. Full or Incremental up to you.
Next, double click on the .exe file that you just downloaded. Wow, are we having fun or what!!!!
Next, follow the on-screen instructions such as "click next" "accept agreement" and so on.......
Finally, after the patch has installed, perform a reboot of your PC.
VERY IMPORTANT: While rebooting your PC you should place a strap-on dildo on your head and chase your roommate around so that you look like a crazed Unicorn. This will ensure proper installation.
Now go and click on the icon for BF2. Play and have fun!

The whole "oh you must install full or it will screw up everything!!1111" is crap. I installed incremental and have no problems. Localisation files got patched correctly, no CTDs, no connection problems. I've been playing for 1,5 hours now and it runs perfectly.
I guess the patch fixed BF2.
