So, a guy that wrestles crocs is killed. I expected it sooner or later, just surprised it was a stingray. Maybe it was bad karma for putting his little baby close to a croc a few years back.
Doctors said if he had been wearing factor 30 suncream he would have lived
Apparently it protects the body from deadly rays................

well if you slap the reaper in the face enuf times he's bound to slap back (do you remember when he walked up to a snake and said "this is the most dagerous snake in the world lets give it a kiss" and he kissed it
it was a matter of time i'm not saying he deserved to die but he finally made a big mistake i'm just surprized it wasn't a snake or croc that got him

The guy had the stigma of being reckless.
In this case, it's probably doubtful he was being reckless. He was swimming over the ray - he wasn't wrestling it. He probably understood the danger and it happened - so either it was a freak accident or he overlooked the danger.
Nothing like this guy (hit trailer):

Guy living with grizzly bears, hungry bears that ate him & wife. Not smart by comparison.

STFU as well. Jeez he knew what he was doing. Where you would be peeing in your pants and crying like a baby if a croc came close to you.Jenkinsbball wrote:

the funny thing is if he was alive im sure he would be laughing at how ironic it is, the guy spent his life working with cros and snakes then he ends up dying in probably the most freak accident ever involving a relatively 'safe' animal
he died doing what he loved, ironic how he didnt die from a croc though RIP
i doubt it, if he didnt feel that his son was safe wen he was doing that performance he wudnt have done it, but he did feel safe and he did do it and nothing happened, so its not bad karma and if ur not gonna post something respectful to the guy then dont post at all and just move onto the next threadJenkinsbball wrote:

I think its more ironic than anything, all the deadly and powerful animals he deals with and he gets killed by the least likely one.a fly wrote:
it would have been better if he was killed by a more dangerous animal.
he died from a "thing" that hardly anyone knows. me and my brother used to watch his shows when we where little
Steve riled a lot of crocodiles in his life - but nobody mess arround with a stingray!
only 3 ppl in the world have died from sting-rays piercing them...on the news
i really felt this. i loved his zoo when i was over in oz and his whole conservation mission was awesome.
him being killed by one of the most harmless creatures he would ever have been filmed with is shocking.
according to the police who have seen the video he was not tormenting the ray in anyway, it was just a freak acccident.

Feel sorry for his family...
But if you play with fire you will get burned... but I always thought a crock would get him.
It's always sad when ppl don't die of old age but of accidents.

A great man, that will be remembered for ever. If only we all could have taken a page from his book we would be a much better world.
If this is right that did not help at all on the contrary. Never pull out knives it will make you bleed faster.JaMDuDe wrote:
