I have a couple of problems.

1. My CD/DVD drive no longer autoruns disks? I didnt do anything to make it not work. I really want this feature cos Im lazy.

2. I like my computer to turn on to the welcome login screen. It did it when I first installed .NET , but it just goes strait to my desktop again, this is another thing I want working.

In the control panel I have login set to go to the welcome screen, but I only have my user account.

I would very much like some help on this issue. I know it dosnt sound like it should be worth the hasle to write a reply, but I will be uber happy if you help me.

BTW- dont post if you havnt got answers.

Check here if there's a solution for the autorun problem

And try LogonStudio to solve the login screen problem (Here you can find different login screens for it)

When in the control pannel under the users setting click on the option for changing how users log in. What items are selected. How many accounts do you have on this computer? Have you always had that many?

right click on my computer and go to properties. then go to hardware/device manager. Look for any entries that have problems. If none exist then find your cd drive and again look at its properties.

1 user admin account, always has been 1. Both the items are selected, within the control panel option.
