Do you think they will ever make a ww2 game based on the german advance from 1939-1943?

im getting pretty bored of the same old d-day. bocage, stalingrad, kursk, kharkov.....i wanna see something new!!!!

anyone else agree?

They should make a more varied and controversial type of game. Possibilities:

1) IRA v British Army!
2) ETA v Spanish Army!
3) Hutus v Tutsis!!! Combat knives FTW!
4) FARC v Colombian Army! Jungleorama!
5) Serbs v Bosnians! Mostar and Srebrenica for maps!
6) PKK (Kurds) v Turkish Army!

well ok then...there should be new ones which i would love to see like....

Invasion of crete, operation torch, the raid on the heavy water factory, the raid on the lafoeten islands, the invasion of southern france, invasion of italy and the invasion of greece, hungry, and other eastern european nations..And also the invasion of finland by the russians...you know somethin new and exiting..not the d-day, a bit of africa, russia done!

Also the war between the japaneese and russians very late in the war, thats somethin i would really like to see.

I would like to see a terrorists vs american coalition forces game. Not sure how this would work though. The American side would have all the good kit and you would almost never die. To be on the terrorist side your kdr would be terrible cause you would keep having to blow yourself up to instill terror into the public.

LOL. The French Army could have commander requests such as 'Run', 'Hide', 'Surrender' and 'Collaborate'! Tanks would only be able to go in reverse and one of the maps could be the evacuation of Dunkirk - the French win if they manage to let go of all of their flags and get onto a waiting boat!!!

well at least put more allied battles in....like i said....invasion of lafoeten island, invasion of southern france, invasion of italy( solerno, monte casino), defence of crete, maybe even the defence of eastern france and dunkirk and the raid on the heavy water factory..you know the less know battles of ww2

I have to say one of these things now:

1. Sea mistook CameronPoe for something he is not. In which case, congratulations on becoming a citizen of the United States of America, Poe.

2. Sea_Jay is referring to Seaneroo as an American (I don't know if Seaneroo is one) and mistaking Sean's knowledge for "arrogance", since at the time neither Poland nor France stood a chance against the German onslaught and any game based upon these invasions would, as stated, have severe balance issues.

There was a mod that came out for Cod called teh German Front mod. It had excellent multiplayer and was going to have single player portion from the perspective of a wehrmacht soilder. I played the demo where you were a gunner on an mg42 on omaha beach mowing down rangers. it was neat but i dont think it ever went past the demo for singleplayer.
