my point, and ken's also, is that he has casually rewritten most of his biography to state he 'started'/'founded'/'co-founded' a bunch of successful companies that he didn't. paypal – how he made his fortune – and tesla being two very conspicuous examples. how can you claim to be a genius polymath billionaire when you didn't even found or develop the two most successful companies under your belt?

Stupidly left a water bottle in the same bag as my MacBook. It mixed with something in the bag and left a stain on the outside edge of the of clam top. I cleaned it all up etc. I restarted the MacBook and everything works fine. Runs a little slower but that might just be in my head. I am not sure if the thing has a SSD or hard disk and my expectations of how fast computers work is clouded by using SSDs for so long.
All the ports still work. It isn't doing anything weird or failing. I should be good, right? The bag luckily was up straight so gravity made sure only the edge got anything on it. And it was the edge towards of the keyboard area and not the hinge.

Probably be OK, might just be worth having it opened up and checked and cleaned to prevent future corrosion.
