Does anyone working from home actually drink while working? I see plenty of memes about it and I hear stories from older people about drinking on the job and cooking food on the lines cause they're so hot.
i never drink at home in non-social situations. seems like a very bad habit.
I can meet the minimum of sit-ups and push-ups, problem is I need to get as high on APFT as possible for those OML points. APFT is worth 200 and contributes alot to OML as it further increases the chances of choosing my branch as active duty. Reserve and National Guard get priority with branch picking and don't really have to compete while active duty have to compete.Jay wrote:

I had a dream that was like a movie. It even had Arnold Schwarzenegger. It would be a good real life horror movie.
So there is this guy who is walking on a winter night and is attacked by an unseen vampire.
The vampire then attacks his girlfriend in her winter cabin at night. She is saved by Arnold Schwarzenegger vampire hunter. The vampire is a lady vampire who looks like the Vampire lady from Blade 3.
The lady and Arnold try to fight the vampire throughout the night. Arnold tries to protect the lady and instead gets killed and eaten by the vampire. The lady then discovers the vampire and Arnold's eaten body. She breaks down and cries while the vampire walks over and lays next to her. The vampire is too exhausted and full to attack her. While they are both sitting there the vampire lets her guard down and the girlfriend quickly picks up a stake and jams it into the heart of the vampire killing her. That is where the twist ending happens:

I was woken up last night at 3am to a revving engine, a smash, and then tires screeching off. Look out the window and a parked car is completely totaled and 3/4 over the sidewalk. Based on the engine sound, I think the Chinese kid I see driving around in his Shelby Mustang must have been goofing around and lost control, then decided a hit and run was the right move. The Mustang has to also be totaled given the damage to the shitty Honda he hit.

when i was at university it was the saudis and russians driving around campus in lambos and ferraris. a campus full of speed bumps and a max speed limit of 15mph. the same scenes got transported to knightsbridge. occasionally one will spin out of control and everyone gets a good picture of some gold-plated special edition bugatti or whatever in pieces on sloane st.

Neighbours tell me they're still looking for the car that did the hit and run! I can't be 100% sure it was the Mustang I see around, but very few engines sound like a naturally aspirated v8 with an exhaust package.
I think at this point the hit and run driver is just willing to take the loss on their vehicle and not report the accident. Unless they can find a shop to do the work without asking how the car got crumpled.

The police interviewed a few neighbours and let them know there's a couple of security cameras around that they'll be looking at the footage from. I doubt I'll ever be given any updates on what the police find.

If the TO police are anything like the police here, they won't actively do anything unless the suspect launches their car on to the steps of the police department HQ.
I think the whole thing is being driven by a business on the street that had their nice iron fence get fucked up by the parked car that shot across the sidewalk. I took a look and think the cameras the police mentioned must also belong to them, so good chance they go over the footage themselves just to seek damages for the 2 or 3k worth of fence work they need to do.

i had a 70-something kill streak on Zatar Wetlands in the Hind. I think I finished 92-3 or something.
