so it's a free-for-all in america on home improvement at the moment? is that right? don't you people laugh at shoddy building practices in china every time a building collapses?

every time i close my eyes i keep seeing that collapsed hotel in new orleans. what sort of third-world country suspends building regulations because of a spot of flu?

Most of the homes in my town including mine were built in the 1920's. It blows my mind that they just don't fall over or go up in flames regularly.

I'm a licensed professional engineer. I self-certify anyway, I just don't have to bother dealing with the town planning board because of the coronavirus right now.

Quality didn't start dropping until the 1960s. Never buy a home built in the 80s or 90s.

I oversee roughly $100 million dollars worth of trades at work. This project cost me $8k.

can you confirm or deny that leaving on a fan at night causes premature death?

I can say that when I leave one blowing over me I wake up with wicked cotton mouth and an inevitable sinus infection.

That catwalk looks like a good place to film someone running from zombies, only to encounter more on the other end.

Too much hard work, I'm not 18 any more.

On the plus side from the Australian standard inspection distance of 10 metres my brickwork looks great.

I wouldn't try. Wish I could say the same for you.

You know I am the nicest person here to you and you never even acknowledge it.
