I'm planning on going to DC in late summer. For vacation, but maybe it will turn into a revolution by the time we get to September.
One of my senators' office, they're the ones that advised me no camera so i didn't proceed

Hey! I don't have a job and am thinking of taking a road trip to Zion and Bryce next week if I don't have to fly to SF for this job interview. Any recommendations on what to see/do? Thinking around 3 days total for both parks (not including driving time to/from Utah)
From I-15, use Utah hwy 9 to Springdale. not sure when they start the buses ( you catch them in Springdale if running - it's a tourist town, pricey but plenty of rooms, things to do) spend 2 of 3 days in zion. the bus hits most of the photogenic stops, and trailheads. hike the emerald pools trail across from the lodge. Angels landing is a lottery, put in for it (they do reserve a % for next day) that is an all day hike, worth itKEN-JENNINGS wrote:

Day 3 get back on 9, turn on 89 until #12. dont miss red canyon, start of #12. #12 will take you to 63 (its the only way in Bryce) it will hit all the turnouts. Lodge loop rd off 63 has sunrise & sunset point overlooks, hit tower bridge for a 1/4 mile hike if you have time
I'm jealous, it's been a couple years since i've been. we are going to kanab in may
