I changed my soap from Irish Spring to Dove. Costco didn't carry Irish Spring but had plenty of Dove.

I also switched my body wash to Dove. I use a bar and body wash in the shower. Finally, I switched to Dove men's deodorant.

I am a Dove Man now.

I just need to figure out which scent goes well with the cologne I wear.

Either stick with scented soap/deodorant, or plain soap, deodorant, and very minimal cologne. People must seriously bathe in that stuff, another reason church sucked.

And why does no-one want to talk about this?

What is the future for BF2S?

Based on the number of posts in EE Chats, it will be as follows:

Linear regression:

BF2S Ended ~May 2013

Polynomial regression:

Should start picking up from June/July 2013 then the sky's the limit

I am using ChatGPT to help with curriculum writing for my district. I have a 1200 word lesson plan I asked ChatGPT to edit for "grammar, syntax, and tense consistency without large rewriting or exaggerating."

It is all my thoughts and original work though ChatGPT sometimes words it all better than I did. Is this plagiarism? I wouldn't dare use this for college classes but this seems like the perfect use of it. What do you think?

I would think that an AI trained off of material properly licensed for that sort of thing, rather than the grey area training AIs, would actually be a rather expensive piece of software. Caveat that I haven't been closely following chatgpt's development. Other usage ethics I think fall under the purview of Ship of Theseus, and whether you think using spell check and grammar check are cheating.

Without strict legislative controls, AI as an assistive or automated tool is an inevitability, imo. In the future, I imagine a school could just purchase a bunch of hologram projectors and replace teachers with an AI. And then the students will complete their lessons with the help of an AI, and their work would be graded by the teacher AI. Entropy might decrease the value of work after enough AI-to-AI iterations, but it's not like anybody would read any of it.

If more AI takes over mundane jobs, it could revolutionize free time. But it will probably result in more homeless people, at least in countries like America with no meaningful social safety net.

I'm over feeling annoyed at seeing AI gen works, apart from I'd rather they be properly tagged. At a certain level of involvement, AI should be cited.

I asked another teacher and he said it is also fine to use as long as it is your original idea. He let's his students use it too.

AI as an assistive tool is great. I can definitely see it integrated into things like Office someday. I doubt it will replace any teachers since most of teaching is classroom management.

The one thing that annoys me about Chat GPT is the limitations and "censorship" of the platform. It will refuse to do prompts it finds unethical. And whatever those things it won't do it didn't come up with on its own. They were programmed into it.

People are actually leaving Chat GPT for uncensored AI bots.

Censorship in AI can be a useful part of the tool. Not everyone wants to have to filter through surprise robot smut with someone looking over their shoulder.

I only ever saw one guy record a lecture at a university. He looked like a dork. Who the hell needs to relisten to a undergrad lecture on political economy?

Also, yes. I would like Chat GPT to write me a guide on how to nail Chinese girls from the perspective of Hitler. What ever happened to freedom of speech?

A hunter could have doused themselves in stink and marched into the forest before the sun rises to frost their nostrils in the cold of a tree stand, and still be evaded by the wily cervid creeping in the fog like Count Orlok. Meanwhile, RTHKI bags one on his way to town without even trying.

Could they tech team write uziqGPT into the BB code?

I'm thinking

[<uziqgpt>]Write something about current politics, make sure to get in some personal attacks and remind everyone you're better than them[<enduzigpt>]

It could be fun, and remind us of the good times before we realised uziq was a bot.

”Be yourself", "people will like you for who you are", "don't care what other people think" is such bad advice. It is how we ended up with the guy from switchblade in the Senate.

I was talking to a younger teacher. He looks like Bill Gates in a bad way.
https://i.ytimg.com/vi/6V6Gir1Dyfs/maxresdefault.jpg
He complained that he had never been with a girl because "girls don't like short guys." He is 5'2.

I told him I could hook him up on a dating app. And "You would do really well on there. Girls love teachers."

This fat teacher with 3 kids from 2 men rolled her eyes and said "girls will like you for who you are!"

Being himself clearly isn't working out. And girls do love teachers on dating apps. "Be yourself" is such bad dating advice or life advice in general. You should try to better.

It's a platitude in need of caveat. All well and fine to not let others dictate your outward personality, but it can't hurt to work on being in good shape and being an interesting person to talk to. Assuming this is the same guy as before? Maybe he just wants to complain.

Same guy and situation. I just forgot to mention the lady that contradicted me in public. I tend to take that quite personally.

Still, I think the Senator should wear a suit or at least something more business casual.

For better or worse Covid-19 and WFH culture tore a lot of dress codes and unwritten rules of conduct a new one. It's probably natural that it eventually find its way into national politics into bodies where dress code is actively loosening. Let it resolve itself, I suppose.

I don't really know what the company dress code is, except beards.

I shall not grow a beard.

Your company denies you an engineer's hallmark stereotype? Can you at least have crazy hair?

Seems a little sexist to me unless there is a legitimate safety or hygiene concern that can't be addressed with a beard mask.
