You could do an adulting day, prepare them for the real world.
- Get them to write an essay on paying off their credit card every month.
- Imagine life without a cellphone
- Role-play police interviews, the black kids could play the criminals and the white kids could play the police officers in relays
- Get a cop in to talk to the class, tell them not to do crime, reminisce about his career, rant about all the partners who've been shot and then sit there sobbing for half an hour making the students uncomfortable and embarrassed.
