Our IT guy is a little fellow, and his wife is 300lbs if she's an ounce, I suppose I could ask him what its like.

Dilb, may I suggest you invest in an angler/fishermans weighing scales, they tend to fold down easy to help with transport. That way you will know there and then how heavy or light she is
But I'd have to lift them with the scales no?

It is my problem when I can't take them some place because they have hangups about certain types of food or they take forever ordering.
I can get someone not eating meat and looking for vegetarian food. The type of people who annoy me are the sort of ones that go to a Mexican place and look for something without sour cream, guacamole, hot sauce, and any certain types of cheese.

Sounds like they have a problem with the texture. It's pretty common.

Much of the problem with meat for me is the texture.

I have friends that find the texture of creams to be revolting. Sour cream, jello, yogurt, guac, etc the soft squishy texture makes then want to throw up.
