Well it's going to bite them now. They refused Obama's choice for the Supreme Court. And he compromised in his pick and they still refused.

I doubt Hillary will be as accommodating.
Obama's choice for the supreme court sucked as bad as Sotomayor does.
Who will Hillary pick I wonder?

This Comey situation with the e-mails just proved that cross party appointments shouldn't be made by democrats. Almost all of the republican party appointments Obama made have turned on him and the democrats at some point. Robert Gates, James Comey, Jon Huntsman, Chuck Hagel. The GOP still refused to work with the administration anyway.
Yeah, ok. If she wasn't such a shitty person this wouldn't be happening. I think Comey is trying to do the right thing.
Comey interfered with the election and has undermined the FBI as an institution. He has been unprofessional regarding this whole thing for awhile now. The press conference he gave regarding the e-mails a few months back was bad enough and out of line.

I think the policy of not informing voters of pending investigations, which has apparently been the norm, is really fucked up and should be changed.  How many crooked assholes were reelected under false pretenses because their buddies in power swept it under the rug? I care less about tax returns being made public than I do about pending criminal investigations. It's reasonable to not want to elect someone that is a potential felon, no? She  should've been disqualified a long time ago. Viva la Bern!

I have a reason not to vote for any single one of the buggers, including the third parties (other than that they'll obviously lose). As we draw closer to next Tuesday, I'm less inclined to cast mine.

Not that it really matters. I'd be floored if my state went with anyone other than Clinton.

You people are so spoiled. You aren't voting for someone to hang out with you. You are voting for the person you think would make the best leader for your country. Not voting because both sides don't ass kiss to whatever you believe in 100% is such a narcissistic thing to do.

That's just the thing. I don't think any of the contenders would make "the best leader" for the United States. There are too many aspects of each I consider nauseating. One of them is going to be president, but I could spare myself the constant reminder of "I voted for this person." I find this national obsession with "the lesser of two evils" revolting.

Especially when there is no lesser of two evils, just a choice of which evil you prefer.

My dad is a Trump supporter only because he really hates Hillary. He argued with me earlier that we should have done a "sneak attack" on Mosul after Trump said it. He was in the military...

He voted for Obama twice? I don't understand what it is about Clinton that makes people so upset.

How does one perform a sneak attack on an entire city filled with civilians? I guess there's the example of Ivan The Terrible's siege of Khazan. But that shit was preposterous.

I remember when Bill Clinton was first running for president my father always exclaimed how Bill was a liar and a cheat. I think dad's just generally don't like Clintons.

I think it's people of a certain age. My mom especially hates Hillary Clinton, as do many of the older people I interact with at work. Young people aren't generally enthused, but I've rarely heard someone say they hate her.

I find the amount of support for Trump among young people to be strange but not unsurprising. Sub 20 year old seem much more into him that mid to late 20 year olds. I would argue that is because older millennials remember the Bush years and what a mess those were. I would genuinely struggle to find a person with a good opinion of the Bush presidency.

it's cause trump is big with the trolling for lulz alt-right internet crowd, plus the general fact that they're still so young that politics seems like a consequence-free spectacle.

For those of us old enough to remember Bill Clinton's presidency, we've been living with her scandals for 25+ years. She's a nasty, grasping, wholly selfish and loathsome human being. I think socialism is infantile and incredibly damaging, but I would've voted for Bernie over her.

I think its interesting that people are stupid and selfish enough to vote based on their narrow opinion of the person compared with which person/party they think would run the country better.

I voted for a Catholic conservative, and Bill Clinton is still the best US President of the last 50 years.

When Trump supporters in real life ask me why I support Clinton I just say "I am not voting for a person but for policies". The response is always "what policies? Obamacare?" and then I just disengage.

She doesn't discuss policy. She regurgitates the incredibly awful Democrat platform. You've heard her personal opinion on nothing this election. Everything has gone through a focus group and a committee before it's reached your ears.

Aside from his incredible corruption and abuse of power, I agree, he was pretty good. He was a trade liberalizing Democrat that shrank the military and balanced the budget. He also tried to push through Hillarycare in his first term though.

How many times has Obama been investigated for corruption? What about Bush? Or his dad? The apologists can hem and haw and blame a right wing conspiracy, but at the end of the day these are not good people.

Guys, I'm getting worried. Obama only has a few days to cancel the election and declare martial law as we've been told he would. Though I do hear the crazies gun nuts are stocking up on ammo since now the narrative will be Clinton is "comin' fer our guns!"

She has released hundreds of pages of proposed policies on her website and to the media. I know you don't pay attention to that stuff and only watch t.v. and read reason.com though so I don't expect you to know anything beyond that.

macbeth, you admitted that you didn't read a policy of hers that you posted here as a backup to your argument.  If you- as an ardent Hillary supporter- haven't read policies that you are touting, how can you expect undecided people or Hillary detractors to?
