I don't really get people who move to states full of giant mosquitos or hurricanes or tornados or water crises expressly so they can be around more of their fellow bigots. Just join a conservative message board or something. I hope walking around all day with a sweaty asscrack is worth sticking it to your old lib state. after 2 summers of tropical monsoon climate i honestly don't think you could pay me to spend a retirement/decades-long stay in the tropics.

UK has some dumb stereotype about 'it rains all the time' (annual rainfall is higher in paris than london but somehow they escape the trope), but i will say this: the UK's climate is under-rated as fuck. pleasant summers, mostly mild winters. nothing that challenging. you can wear outfits with multiple layers of clothing all year round, and the climate will not fucking ruin your clothes with sweat stains/mildew/mould/etc.. except for a few days of a heat wave or the odd snowfall here and there, the weather in UK is literally pleasant all year round. i'll even take a few april showers or a bit of unwanted rain in august over the fucking monsoons and having 30 mosquitos in your room every night because of all the stagnant water pooling in the streets outside. fuck that.

no extreme weather events in the UK except for perhaps flooding, depending on your location. god bless that pleasant fair island hugged by the gulf stream.

erm, i wasn't responsible for setting up korea's energy grid, i'm not enfranchised to vote in their political system, i have no say or input to this state-of-affairs whatsoever.

and i've literally been living out of a suitcase for the last two years in one-room studio apartments and travelling light. i undoubtedly exist with a lighter footprint than you in almost every way, except meat consumption perhaps.

i know you think you're brilliant because your state manages to flip to entirely green energy for 3 hours every thursday, but you're conveniently missing the part where there's 2.5x as many methane-emitting cattle in your state than people, and the fact that every part of your first-world economy is propped up by environmentally ruinous exports.

feel free to renege and rollback on these industries and try living in a state with a drastically reduced budget, though.
