Should we be worried about this? I'm not really worried since I have nothing to live for and we all die eventually anyway. It is actually very funny since this proves a lot of liberals right when they warned that 2nd amendment extremism, Middle Eastern wars, and obnoxious patriotism wouldn't end well. I guess this proved liberals right on a lot of other things too considering this is where the Republican party is at now. Imagine losing so much you regress into armed militancy.

Michigan's highest ranking Republican leader was caught on video calling the Jan. 6 attack at the U.S. Capitol a "hoax" and espousing other conspiracy theories related to the siege.

Senate Majority Leader Mike Shirkey, in a video posted on YouTube of a meeting with Hillsdale County Republican Party officials, said of the Capitol insurrection in which five people died: "It was all staged."

About half an hour into the video Shirkey can also be heard asking, "Why wasn't there more security there?" He accused Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of being involved, saying McConnell "is part of the decision-making how much security they have on stand. I think they wanted to have a mess."

Shirkey on Tuesday issued a statement that didn't directly address his claims but said he regretted the words he chose and his "insensitive comments."

No I think if the Republican right continues to negotiate in bad faith and with the sole purpose of derailing any Democrat agenda it will lead to the downfall of America as we know it.

Downfall is a bit harsh. I think there is going to be dramatic economic and quality of life backsliding in our lifetime regardless of what we do. That will coincide with American demographic transition. So a large amount of people are going to blame the blacks for all of our problems as if Donald Trump never existed.

Your grandchildren are going to have to sit in a U.S. History 3 college class and listen to Jay's great nephew argue that multiculturalism was the reason we lost World War 3 to China.
