And immediately by associating Holy Reagan with "wrong turn," it would lose most of its conservative audience. Verboten.

Even people who were financially stricken or ruined under his presidency love the guy. Business failed during the 80s, practically homeless with young children but for the help of family (or a car to live in), nobody hiring, can't get help from the government because you look like a perfectly good working type? "Man that Reagan, I miss him." Practically a peasant state of mind.

It's probably OK to some extent to look back with some amount of positivity on Thatcher and Reagan etc. prickling the Soviet Union, but it's difficult to abide the utter fealty with which they're viewed by Modern Conservatives.

I suppose another bittersweet perk to being acquaintances with so many Republicans is also how poorly their childlike awe of people like Johnson or name a someone presented as a "foreign strongman" have aged. It's too bad their mind blanks over their previous support when the #@*-up finally happens, or when they completely disregard failures and continue to go "oh man that xyz guy, made of such stern stuff, you don't want to mess with him!"

I don't think Trumpism at least has quite run its course yet. The Republican party appears to be in some amount of disarray, and we are going to have four years of efforts and rabble-rousing to undermine Biden's legitimacy.

People believe Trump will, if able, run again in 2024. Even if he doesn't, the way ahead has been paved and beacons lit for people like him. I can barely find an iota of sympathy for stricken Trump voters who realize what kind of man they helped elect and feel (usually appended with a "but the democrats too" line) chagrined. Look at the damage that's been done for the memes or simply because people vote like dickheads.

It's kind of a bittersweet win without the hoped for blue wave in the legislature, but take what you can get right?

At the very least, I could have done without another few years of McConnell.

Good thing they don't believe in face mask because Washington D.C. is going to nail them for assault. The city of D.C. is a blue city. NYC nailed a few of these guys a little while ago for the same thing.

2. Played bad Warhammer games and look at cars going in circling.
3. Listen to beep beep music and argue with the Dutch about it.
4. Curated a porn collection and pieces of cardboard. 
5. Play with guns and conspire against Asians.
6. Listen to a youtube trans lady tell you it is okay how you feel.
7. Eat ass, screw broken up MILFs, and get feedback from bf2s about it.

It's really hard to put into words how much I hate the Republican "Fuck California" stuff. I would rather see the entire country burned to the ground like Iraq and Syria than live a single day in an America without California.

As a Californian, my vote in national elections counts for less than 1/3 of the vote of someone from Wyoming.

I would guess most people who complain about California know next to nothing about the state. We are just like any other state- go outside the metro areas and you see meth labs, missing teeth, run down towns and drug abuse problems.

It's always interesting for me to see people learning civics lessons for the first time in their life at 40 years old. Whaddayamean there's an electoral college!?

I'm fully expecting some crackpot republican to suggest votes from residents of large cities only count as 3/5ths of a vote.
