I do not understand this line of thinking. Saddam, Gandalf, Assad, Hosni, etc. couldn't hold their countries together. Did anyone watch the debate? I liked Jim Webb. If the republican party wasn't clinging onto crazy and failed ideas, the GOP debates would be filled with various flavors of Jim Webb. That wouldn't be a bad thing.

I don't even think they let the news decide. I really think it's "oh, Clinton. I've heard that name before. I'm going to vote for them." It's simple advertising that is allowing this to happen.

It's, quite frankly, frightening to see how quickly Republicans will turn on those who don't see thing their way, even if it was one of their own. From that first to debate to the list of demands for future ones, we've seen them turn on Megyn Kelly. I saw "RINO" being thrown around (liberally, I might add, huehuehue) in response to that freshman senator whose inaugural speech included the radical idea of Congress working together. I like to think that doesn't happen as much on the left, but I'm sure there are instances of it.

In talking to my parents, it sounds like they need to pay more attention, despite being admittedly ill-informed about the current race. My dad said if the race were held today he'd vote for Carson, and my mom said Trump. That is just not on.
