A lot of disease are spreading from Africa. An African mosquito disease has been found in the U.S. for the first time. Over in Africa they are having a huge outbreak of ebola. Ebola, AIDS, and other diseases came from and are spread by monkeys. Monkeys are endangered and westerners spend big money to protect these animals. Maybe we shouldn't try to protect these animals? Could it be in the best interest of Africans and humanity at large if some animals were removed from the ecosystem? Prairie dogs in the midwest carry the plague. If people were catching the plague left and right, we would go on a mission to eliminate them. I think we should rethink our policy regarding endangered animals.

What do you think?

To put it another way, is it the monkeys and prairie dogs that travel on boats and planes all over the world and are in contact with large numbers of people?

Think about it.

I think maybe a campaign the stop the sex with monkeys, not eliminating the monkeys themselves.

We also shouldn't have brought over those two dying doctors. They knew the risk going there. Why knowingly bring a disease over to the U.S.? This country is out of it's mind when it comes to disease management. It reminds me of when we lifted the immigration ban on people with HIV/AIDS. What good is bringing them here? Innocent people are going to die.

I hate people like you. You talk a big game about tolerance and acceptance but would move quickly to sell your home if an AIDS treatment center opened up next door and you had dopefiends hanging around the neighborhood.

I'm honestly not even going to bother "debating" it with you, if you actually thought about half the shit you spout on here you'd realise you look like a clueless teenage half wit.

I am not trolling. We need to cull the African monkey populations.

We need to cull the black people who eat the monkeys - that's how AIDS got into the human population, now its Ebola, god knows whats next.

Diseases like these would always find a way to spread to a different host sooner or later.
Just look at the avian influenza virus sub types that have spread over from birds to humans over the past decades.
Diseases have always been a part of life on earth and always will be, especially when it comes to viruses.

But MacBeth, you better have a look at recent measles outbreaks!
An effective vaccination against that virus exists, yet stupid anti-vaccination idiots all across the globe still think that kids should live through the disease, with a quite high chance of suffering long-term neurological damages or even death.

There's absolutely nothing against bringing those two infected doctors back to the USA.
In fact, their chance of survival actually drastically increased, due to proper treatment.

The biggest mistake in Africa was, that they didn't shut down the borders and enforced quarantine zones.
I've also read stories that superstitious Africans tend to hide their sick relatives, rather than reporting them.

Yes, the borders from one African country with crappy hygiene and medical services to another, you dunce.
That means that an infected person can't just walk across the border to visit friends and relatives.

There is absolutely nothing against bringing someone to the USA under proper quarantine conditions.
How the hell do you think that the Ebola virus is handled in all the research facilities across the world?

But anyway, the Ebola virus apparently is transmitted by fruitbats.
Pretty hard to shut down the border or enforce quarantine for those.
