it says it's only a 20cm thick layer...I found a 12 inch thick queen on Amazon for $299! Gonna have to look into this.  Anyone know how off-brands compare to tempur-pedic?

idk mines pretty good tbh.

20cm thick layer is pretty much all you need i think. well i do have "mattress" underneath my memory foam one because thats just how my bed is. its like one of those "european" beds where the bottom mattress is like hard and shit.

Does anybody have any insight on living in a studio?

Given my lack of need for a living room (and the fact that I lived in a 1B and literally used the living room for storage), a studio is starting to look better and better. I used to poo-poo them because it was so awkward to have your bed in the middle of all your stuff. To me it was like having your toilet in the middle of your living room, but if you aren't entertaining, can't you just get a little room divider and call it good?
