Had a pretty good weekend. Drove down to DC yesterday morning with my brother, used the bike share program they have and rode from my friends apartment through town to the Lincoln Memorial and then back up past Capital Hill to Nationals Park. Pregamed at the outdoor beer garden area they have and then sat front row in right field right behind Yasiel Puig and Jaysen Werth. Got a pair of bobbleheads and a nice buzz. Walked from the field down to the marina where we closed down the bar (1ish). Ended up crashing around 3 am, woke up at 6 and drove back to NY. Quickly changed and then I ran down to the softball field for a doubleheader. Finally got home at 2 pm and crashed for three hours. Super awesome, super action filled 30 hours

a pinch of salt on anything keens the taste. that's why in most western countries nowadays everything is either sweetened or salted to shit - our tastebuds become accustomed to being way over-stimulated in this sense. not sure about mixing salt with fruit. i suppose it depends on what fruit, e.g. citric. i wouldn't like a double-whammy of saltiness and sourness, to be honest.

Try raw green peppers and add a bit of salt to it, makes it taste really sweet. one of the best things ever.

ya i cook for myself too, but it's so easy to consume way too much salt/sugar in our western foodstuffs. it's all crammed. everything is extremely sweet or salty, like our taste buds have denatured and they've pumped everything to super-rich versions. even stuff like white bread is bad for your glucose levels.

How do you guys like Avocado? There is this Cuban place nearby that makes this amazing Avocado salad. If I had the time and money I would probably eat Avocado every morning with some orange juice and other fruit and vegetables instead of my usual toast or cereal.

my girlfriend got me into avocado, actually, and yeah she has it for breakfast, too. i like it. haven't really eaten anything like that before. i am not really that adventurous when it comes to fruits. they are also pretty expensive over here in comparison to other easier foods with similar nutrition.

Ever had guacamole? It is always a delight when they have the waiter scrap out the avocado mash, lemon, and salt it in front of you at some Mexican restaurants.

he gets banned every time he comes back. apparently someone who posts ordinary things and the occasional bit of ass-licking is such a danger to this fine, super-active forum. mods are pretty retarded. we need every active poster we can get. i would even welcome ATG and lowing back at this point.
