He was talking crap about DNA sampling though.
You actually only need very tiny amounts of DNA, even fragments might be enough.
They're multiplied in a PCR cycler to much bigger amounts for the testing itself.
Make-up definitely is not a problem and unless you wash your face with soap, traces will stick on you for some time.

And quite a silly idea of "going through a lot of DNA contaminates every day".
DNA doesn't fly through the air and smashes your face.
Sure, you might touch a lot with your hands, but few of that would end up in your face, compare to someone allegedly headbutting your nose with a force that breaks it.
A much bigger amount would get smeared/stamped that way, which would be rather obvious and easily distinguishable.
