Most Asians like money and prestige.  Hence many Asian men have money and work in prestigious posts.  I'm generalizing I know but I base this off of experience, friends, and friends of friends.

The Asian women that go for non-Asian men in general fall under these categories:
1. They are close to 30 or over 30 and are desperate.  And because they age better physically (due to genetics), white men scramble like sheep to them because they look young.  Asian men know better.
2. They want to rebel against their traditional parents of wanting them to go out with an Asian guy.
3. They are curious how non-Asian men are in bed.  In general (again, basing off of experience, friends, etc.), they don't feel any more or less satisfied than their Asian male counterparts.  This is mainly because non-Asian men tend to have larger members but lack oral finesse (if they even do oral at all) while Asian men for some reason excel in that department (but they have on average smaller members).
4. They are region locked to an area that has very little Asian men so they are forced to go the non-Asian route.
5. They are surrounded by the more crude and/or misogynistic types of Asian men in their community (usually Korean and/or mainland Chinese) and compare it to western hospitality towards women (as portrayed by media or their non-Asian friends).  Therefore they go for non-Asian men to "escape" from these types of Asian men.

yeah it's only asian men who take prestigious posts. right. lol. you could just as easily generalize and say most asian men live in abject poverty and are peasants, whereas most white european men live in relative comfort. therefore white european men have all the prestigious middle-class posts? asians are just arrivistes to the western middle class luxury world, no? but yeah, okay, asian men always get 'prestigious posts'. like all those unemployed unskilled young men in korea that get pissed and xenophobic about white teachers taking their women and government money. okay.

or all those asians that dominate academia, law, journalism/publishing, and government. ah no, wait, there are hardly any.

i'll give asian culture one thing: it places a high merit and value on scholarship and scholars. but for most asian families that just seems to mean mind-crushing levels of education, rote learning, and test-taking. it's not all exactly like a confucian utopia, where the scholar is king. it's more just like fussy asian parents trying to get their kids to get a decent paying job. hardly 'prestigious' or 'sophisticated'. it's the textbook definition of 'arriviste'.
