wow you are such a fucking moron. it's just a cultural difference. some cultures and people are raised to be more private than others. some cultures don't care for 'shooting the breeze' and meaningless insincere chit-chat with someone they don't care about and will never see again. what the fuck would you talk to someone about on the tube on the way to work in the morning? there are 101 other things to think/worry about... including maybe just getting some quiet time before a long, busy day.

NOBODY on british public transport talks to one another. EVERYONE minds their own business. it's the 'norm' here. just like rushing for places and frantic over-crowding is the 'norm' on asian transport systems. hence the asian women will push through the door-crush without thinking it rude; hence why british people won't ask you how your stupid mundane day is going just because you share a train carriage - most british people would even look the other way and keep quiet if there was an argument/altercation on public transport. but nooo... they are "oppressive", "depressing", "more annoying than a jewish mother only x1000" (whatever that means). you are a small-minded idiot. why does it ruin your day if the little asian women won't speak to you? why do you have to make vituperative, racially-slanted comments, just because they choose not to talk? they probably think you smell of schnitzel.

would you be loquacious if you were living and working in tokyo or seoul? i can picture you holding forth conversations with your co-passengers every day.

i didnt know people started conversations with each other on nyc subways.

Maybe they find being stared at on the bus by a fat white guy creepy so don't say anything or look around?

I've noticed asian chicks, actually people generally, stop talking when I get on the bus.

Nope, they're all hydraulic and stuff now. One press of the button and whoof the person who thought they were getting on first gets smacked smartly in the ankles.

If its an asian the shriek can be almost super-audible.
